This is a RETREAT... not a conference...

Many people have asked us how is our retreat different than others...
Here is a summary of what our retreat is all about...
~ We want to emphasize... our retreats are designed to be a restful experience with times being flexible as we seek to learn and enjoy the God who gave us life and ..... A Reason to Dance! :) ~

Our desire is that each woman attending will leave refreshed and renewed, because they have been...
Fed by The Word - Matthew 4:4
Fueled through the worshiping of our Lord - Psalm 40:3
Fired up by the desire to serve Him more and better - Romans 7:6
Filled up with His love to show and share - 1 Corinthians 13

Some of the things that happen at our retreats in order to meet the goals above
Teaching - from real people who have experienced God in mighty ways!
Praise & Worship - that prepares our hearts AND lifts our spirits
(and the roof off the building! :))
Prayer Times - with God appointed partners!
Fellowship - with old and new friends
Fun and laughter - enjoying life to the fullest with skits and contests
Free Time - to spend as God leads
All taking place in a beautiful setting... right on the banks of the majestic Atlantic Ocean......with several balconies in both retreat houses looking out to the rolling waves and sunrises every morning!

All this happens HOW?
* Prayer warriors praying over this retreat for months in advance *
* Planning.... planning... planning *
* Preparing the hearts of our leaders through training workshops *
* Committed ladies and even some men...willing to sacrifice their time and talents for the benefit of many women who need this time away for many reasons *

Introducing our Speaker!! :)

Susan Hall

I was born in...no no I won't go THAT far back :) but the Lord has been so faithful to me my whole life.  I grew up going to church and trusted Him as my Savior as a teenager. It was then that I took a Sign Language class.  I loved it so much, when I was looking for a college I wanted to take just a few more classes...not knowing that it would become my whole life!  I attended Tennessee Temple University and met so many Deaf friends who just took me in their world and loved me.  The Lord has wondrous ways of leading us into the life He has for us!  I have been interpreting since 1990 which makes me feel REALLY old :)

I have a wonderful, godly family, hubby Robert and son, AJ! I live in the "Deaf world" as my husband and son are both Deaf. :) I am currently attending Harvest Baptist Church of the Deaf in Ringgold Georgia where I serve the Lord in various capacities.  One is by assisting our Pastor's wife, Kim Rempel, in teaching Sunday School. I also lead our interpreting ministry and help in the worship ministry by signing special music, running Power Point and leading our couple's choir.

My life verse is really a whole chapter of Scripture.  Psalm 121 - It is such a great comfort to me knowing that the Lord NEVER slumbers or sleeps.  He is with me at every turn and always has my best interest in mind as He leads me through life.
